Job Description:

Payroll Specialist


Provides support to the Payroll Department and ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll records by compiling, organizing, and entering data into the Time & Attendance (Kronos) and Payroll System (ADP) -( QuickBook).


Duties and Responsibilities:


" Review time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.


" Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.


" Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments.


" Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, LOA, and sick leave for employees.


" Compile employee time cards and payroll data reports from the T&A and other records.


" Perform payroll audits to update employee payroll records.


" Assist in special projects at the direction of the Payroll Supervisor.


" Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.


" Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.


" Back-up Payroll Lead


" Filing for Payroll
